Ty Dolla $ign apparently has a lot of new music on the way, and today he has shared the first preview in the form of "Purple Emoji," featuring J. Cole.

The Grammy-nominated singer released the track Monday, premiering it on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, where he also revealed he has been putting the finishing touches on a new record.

"It’s definitely my favorite album I’ve done yet,” he told Lowe, calling it his "most personal" project yet. The new album, which doesn't yet have a release date, would be the followup to his 2017 record Beach House 3 and his collaborative album with Jeremih, which was released last year.
