After months of new music, alt-rock trio Wallows have released their proper debut album Nothing Happens, which arrived Friday via Atlantic Records.

The newly released project includes lead single "Are You Bored Yet?," a collaboration with fellow Variance favorite Clairo, as well as new songs "Sidelines" and "Scrawny," the latter of which they released a video for today to celebrate the album's release.

"It feels great to finally be releasing our debut record," said Wallows of the new LP, which was recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-winning producer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Future Islands). "We’ve been playing together for the past 10 years, so it’s been a long time coming. Nothing Happens reflects on our experiences growing up together, our loss of innocence and the thoughts and fears that come with transitioning into adulthood."

In addition to the new music, Wallows will be hitting the road next month for a headlining tour, starting with their two-weekend appearance at Coachella.
