FINLAY's dazzling new single "lovesick." is here and it's a keeper.

It's her first release of 2019 and it's perhaps no coincidence it's arriving on Valentine's Day. Actually, it's perfectly fitting for today, as a lot of people can probably relate to the lovelorn cut, which spins heartbreak into an absolutely infectious pop gem.

"When I sat down to write ['lovesick.'], those tirelessly aggressive emotions that seem to side-swipe me like a breaking wave in every break-up I've yet experienced are what seemed to effortlessly fall from my pen," she recalls of the song's origins. "It was then, in that session, that I discovered the highlights and shadows of human love, and how difficult if often is to see a loved one in gray-scale post-break up."

She adds: "It's sweet yet brutal, ethereal yet painstakingly grounding all at once, and I suppose, in both the beauty and the pain, human love is still something just way too magical to let go of altogether. A friend lovingly joked with me that I should release the record on Valentine's Day, to which I obviously rolled my eyes and shook my head in annoyance and laughter before realizing that it really is the perfect time to continue the conversation of universal experience and vulnerably share the aftermath of my own heartache with fans."

And so here it is. Listen to "lovesick." below and stay tuned for more from FINLAY.
