New week, new video from Tessa Rae.

The rising Los Angeles songstress on Monday returned a video for her new single "footsteps," a collaboration with Brando. The clip for the tantalizing cut is premiering today on Variance and it follows her previous standout "Downtown," which featured fellow L.A. artist In.Drip.

"I’d been trying to write to this beat for a while but got stuck mid way through the process," says Rae of the new song. "My producer invited his best friend, Brando, over to to write with me and as soon as he heard the track he came up with the hook. From there the song took on its full form."

She adds that "Footsteps" is "about missing someone you love but letting your pride come between you and that relationship."
