Kanye West took the stage Saturday for the season 44 premiere of NBC's Saturday Night Live.

Serving as the musical guest for the Adam Driver-hosted first episode of the new season, West brought the weirdness, antics and politics, in addition to some special guests, performing "I Love It" with Lil Pump, with both rappers both dressed as water bottles, while Teyana Taylor later joined Ye for a rendition of their previously leaked track "We Got Love," which features a vocal outro from Lauryn Hill.

At the end of the night as the cast said their goodnights, West returned with 070 Shake, Kid Cudi, and Ty Dolla $ign to play Ye track "Ghost Town." Wearing a red MAGA hat, West also launched into a political rant after the broadcast ended. The speech was, however, shared by Chris Rock via his Instagram Story.

West griped about the "liberal" media and claimed he was "bullied" backstage by the crew, which allegedly asked him not to wear his dumb hat. While he had promised to release a new album called Yandhi coinciding with his performance, as of this writing, that project had yet to materialize.
