As Max Frost gets ready to release his new album Gold Rush, he has shared a video for his song "Eleven Days."

The video follows the story laid out in the song itself, which was actually inspired by the singer's real-life experience chasing a girl he hardly knew all the way to London for what was supposed to be a three-week adventure.

"I thought I was in love with this girl I had never even met in person," he says of the experience, which plays out in the video. "Long story short—I realized she was fake and that it wasn’t gonna work out. This was only a week into the trip…I was stuck. I didn’t want to be there. And even though I was the one who ended it with the girl, I still walked around for the next two weeks in a state of heartbreak and in a drunken stupor."

While "Eleven Days" is out now, the full album arrives on Oct. 5. And Frost's North American tour starts just days later, on Oct. 9.
