Emerging artist Jvck James has released his new single "Fears." And it's incredible.

The glossy R&B cut, which was produced by LOXE, is accompanied by a moody video featuring James, who draws influence from his Jamaican heritage while admittedly finding inspiration in the likes of D’Angelo, Lauryn Hill and Frank Ocean. The clip was directed by Elliot Simpson.

"The track talks about running from your fears rather than confronting the actual problems," says James about the new song. "I wanted to use my upper register to complement the funky b-line; channelling my inner MJ."

"Fears" is one of several tracks James plans to release this summer ahead of a U.K. tour.
