Nashville-based singer Conner Youngblood has shared a stunning set of visuals for his single "The Birds of Finland."

It's the emerging Dallas-born artist's first track from his upcoming debut album Cheyenne, which will be released on Aug. 17 via Counter Records. The video was directed Johannes Greve Muskat and it was shot—where else—throughout Finland back in February.

"I had always been in love with the idea of bird watching and had always wanted to go to Finland," he said of the video. "It just took me writing the song first, to eventually do both of those things. Once we got the camera and a rental car, we basically made up a route across Lapland-from Finland to Norway-and tried to capture everything we encountered along the way. It was incredible and incredibly cold."

The song itself is mesmerizing but the video is the perfect accompaniment, with Youngblood navigating icy waters, snow-covered mountains and some incredible wildlife.
