Beyoncé and Jay-Z kicked off their On the Run II tour Wednesday night in the U.K. And naturally, they made quite an entrance.
The power couple cleverly took the stage tonight at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff by descending via an elevator, a clear nod to their wild experience at the 2014 Met Gala, where Jay and Solange were involved in a serious altercation in an elevator, for which security footage was later leaked.
It's not the first time they've acknowledged the scuffle, as Beyoncé proudly declared on her "Flawless" remix: "Of course sometimes shit go down / when it's a billion dollars on an elevator."
The On the Run II tour continues through the U.K. and Europe through next month, with the trek making its way to the U.S. starting on July 25.
See fan footage of their elevator intro below.
