Newcomer Kevin George is kicking off the weekend by making his debut, releasing his impressive first single called "High Like This."

Inspired by the likes of Tame Impala and Prince, the 20-year-old has been working on his debut project, LOVELAND, which is expected to arrive in the near future. "High Like This" was released Friday as the first preview of that set.

In addition to the song's release, George has also shared an accompanying set of visuals for the track.

"'High Like This' came to me during a dark time in my life," George said of the new song. "It felt like my world was closing in on me. This girl turned me down [and] that's what came out."
