English newcomer Adult Jazz proves today to be one to watch this year with a fresh sampling off their forthcoming debut album, Gist Is.

While there are some "jazz" elements to the band's material released thus far, it's really a wonderful, eclectic mix, as showcased in "Idiot Mantra," which they perform in their new "Community Rhythms" video.

Gist Is arrives on Aug. 5. Click here to listen to the band's previous track "Spook."
