After sharing his new single "Monsters" back in April, Manchester singer Dario Darnell (aka Youngr) has released a proper video for the track.

Directed by Valentine Reinhardt, the bright and colorful clip explores a high school as classroom doodles on a page come to life, while Darnell himself is outside the school playing for a rowdy bunch of teens.

The singer previously said he wrote the song for "all the day dreamers and doodlers," noting he was inspired by his tendency to get distracted in school. "I used to draw my math teacher as a monster whilst counting down the seconds until I could run home and play my drum kit," he said.
