After releasing their infectious new single "Airborne" earlier this month, Cut Copy has shared an electric—literally!—set of visuals.

The new clip, directed by Gerson Aguerri, follows frontman Dan Whitford as he just tries to enjoy a late-night burger, but things get weird when he realizes he's being sought out by a magical visitor from another world.

"The video for our song 'Airborne' is probably the most interesting and most challenging that I’ve ever been involved in," Whitford said of the clip, which was shot over three nights in Barcelona. "[It] culminated with a final scene with me having not slept for 24 hours and playing a piano on the back of a moving truck. To say it was a once in a lifetime experience is no understatement!"

The song is the first preview of the band's new material, perhaps a glimpse of a full-length on the way.
