It only took four years, but it appears as if Donald Glover may be getting his wish to play Spider-Man (if only for a moment).

When the new season of Disney XD's animated show Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors returns for its new season, Peter Parker will travel to a series of parralel worlds, one in which he meets Miles Morales—the half-Hispanic, half-black Spider-Man, voiced by none other than Glover. Marvel first debuted the character in its "Ultimate Universe" comics in 2011.

The guest appearance comes after the actor-rapper in 2010 expressed interest in playing Spider-Man, prompting the hashtag #donald4spiderman.

According to USA Today, Glover's episodes on the show will begin next year. Of the role, Glover said: "I don't think it's hit me necessarily yet how big of a deal that is. I'm very grateful for that, and it's cool to read the comic now."
