It's been five years since Norway's Kings of Convenience released their last album, but Erlend Øye (one half of the duo) has been keeping busy working on his own music.

Ahead of his new solo album, Legao, the singer and multi-instrumentalist has shared the video for his single "Rainman."

Directed by Clara Cebrian, the video consists of 2000 ink drawings created by hand and subsequently transformed using a technique called rotoscoping in which every scene is filmed and then traced.

Legao is due Oct. 3 on Bubbles Records and you can watch the video for "Rainman" below.
