As Dan Vidmar (aka Shy Girls) prepares to release his debut album next month, he's shared an live video of a new song called "Why I Love."

The spellbinding new track will appear on Vidmar's full-length Salt, which is out Jan. 20 via Hit City U.S.A. In the newly released clip, which was recorded at The Gift Shop in downtown Los Angeles, he is seen playing the guitar and singing "Why I Love" while accompanied by a live band.

For an artist who has previously demonstrated an ability to expertly craft intimate pop songs, the "Why I Love" performance showcases a gripping new angle.
