After revealing the title for a new album last week, The Decemberists have made it official: What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World is coming Jan. 20, 2015.

The Portland folk-rockers' last album was 2011's The King Is Dead.

A teaser, seen below, features a preview of the band's new single “Make Me Better”, with the promise of “more to come on Monday.”
