The second year of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, fest Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival overwhelmingly avoided any form of sophomore slump.

With a carefully selected roster, curated by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and The National's Aaron Dessner, the lineup was an eclectic, yet specific mix of cult favorites, legendary performers and lesser-known acts, allowing Eaux Claires to continue carving out a very nice space in what's become a very crowded festival industry.

The first of two days featured performers from Aaron Dessner and Lisa Hannigan, Phosphorescent, Vince Staples, yMusic with The Staves, James Blake, and headlined by none other than Bon Iver, who debuted songs from their upcoming new album 22, A Million.

Saturday, the final day, was a very collaborative one, featuring Mavis Staples with Lucius as special guests; both The Staves and Lucius joining Jenny Lewis; Phil Cook with Bruce Hornsby, Lena Mae Perry and Justin Vernon; Erykah Badu; and Francis and the Lights with Vernon and Chance the Rapper.
