Tony Awards organizers are distributing silver ribbons for attendees and the press to wear during Sunday night's ceremony, in honor of the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.
Variety's Cynthia Littleton was one of the first to report receiving one of the ribbons, which were designed by Tony winner William Ivey Long, who is a chairman of the American Theatre Wing.
Organizers announced earlier today the Tonys will be dedicated to the more than 50 killed and 53 injured in this morning's attack at gay nightclub Pulse in Orlando, Florida.
Today's massacre is the deadliest in American history, surpassing the 2007 attack at Virginia Tech University which claimed the lives of 32 victims.
Sunday's Tony Awards will air live on CBS starting at 8 p.m. CST (delayed for PST timezone).
