The Weinstein Company has released the trailer for its upcoming McDonald's biopic The Founder, starring Michael Keaton as Ray Kroc, the businessman who turned the burger company into a worldwide empire.

Out on Aug. 5, the film boasts an impressive cast outside of Oscar nominee Keaton, with Laura Dern, Nick Offerman, B.J. Novak, Patrick Wilson, John Carroll Lynch and Linda Cardellini rounding out the main players.

Regardless of one's views about the burger chain, the trailer presents a riveting behind-the-scenes look at McDonald's' path to becoming the fast food king. At one point, Keaton's Kroc declares, "McDonald's can be the new American church, and it ain't just open on Sundays."
