After a series of teasers, the first trailer for the upcoming Forest Whitaker-produced dramedy Dope has been released.

The film, which stars a slew of young talent such as Shameik Moore, Kiersey Clemons, Zoë Kravitz, A$AP Rocky and Blake Anderson, follows a group of '90s hip-hop loving friends who get mixed up in a drug deal, leading to a number of unexpected events.

Executive produced by Diddy and Pharrell Williams, the project premiered earlier this year at Sundance Film Festival and is due in theaters on June 19.
