As emerging singer-songwriter Dani Elliott sets out on her own path, she's released a set of visuals for her debut track "The Best Part."

From Brooklyn by way of Nashville, Elliott has spent the past six years on the road as a backup vocalist for the likes of Miley Cyrus, The Roots, M.I.A. and most recently Allen Stone. But "The Best Part" serves as her proper introduction as a solo act.

It's a lush, R&B-infused track that puts the singer in company with the likes of Jessie Ware. And the video is a glowing accompaniment.

"The Best Part" is the title track off Elliott's forthcoming EP, which is out Aug. 11 via Scooterpup Music.
