With her new album 99¢ on the way, Santigold has given fans another preview in the form of "Chasing Shadows."

Produced by Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij, the track premiered Thursday on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show, while an Elliot Lester-directed set of visuals for the song arrived Friday on Tidal.

Santigold has previously said "Chasing Shadows" is inspired by the inner conflicts artists sometimes face. "Never in the moment, as quickly as we reach our goals, our gaze shifts to those still looming in the distance," she said. "We judge ourselves harshly for not being further on the path ... The lyrics weigh the value of going against the current to maintain artistic integrity, and the feelings of isolation and vacancy bred by a persona that is always 'on' and ready for show."

99¢ is out Feb. 26, but the video for "Chasing Shadows" can be seen below.
