Ahead of his debut next week at CMJ, Brooklyn-based musician Aaron Taos has released a video for his bittersweet but irresistible new single "Hands."

The clip, which was directed by the Tanaka Bros and stars Meryl Streep's daughter Louisa Gummer, focuses on a group of young women enjoying a night out in Brooklyn, but it also perfectly captures the mood of the song itself.

"It's about wanting to be there for someone emotionally, but for whatever reason them not letting themselves be loved," Taos said of the track, which is from his newly released GUITS EP. "It's about knowing deep down that something is wrong and this person needs/wants help, but them letting pride or confidence issues get in the way ... You can only go so far to help, but at the end of the day fate is in their hands.”

Watch the video for "Hands" below and catch definitely stay tuned for more from Aaron Taos. He will also be performing Oct. 14 at Tell All Your Friends' CMJ showcase at Elvis Guesthouse in New York.
