Ahead of their performances next week during CMJ Music Marathon in New York, Los Angeles four-piece Harriet has shared a very creative lyric video for their track "American Appetite."

It's the title track for the band's upcoming debut album, which they confirmed on Friday will be released Jan. 29 on Harvest Records.

While we typically don't share lyric videos, Harriet's set of visuals, which were directed by Macklin Casnoff and Ben Watanabe, certainly fall outside the norm and are too imaginative to ignore.

According to vocalist Alex Casnoff, the clip was largely inspired by the documentary Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room.
