Mk.gee performs in Vancouver, photo by Heather Fabia

While the year might be starting to wind down, rising artist Mk.gee is darting toward the finish line with his North American tour, which kicked off this month.

Variance was on hand for the opening night at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom, where Mk.gee delivered a gauzy, intimate show ahead of an 18-stop trek, which follows the singer's debut album Two Star & The Dream Police, which arrived back in February.

After the North American run of dates, Mk.gee will also head to the U.K. and Europe as well as Australia, where he'll play in December.
