Olivia Rodrigo is closing out the month by starting her new era on Friday, sharing her new song "Vampire," which she confirmed earlier this month.

On Monday, the singer announced her second album Guts, which is coming Sept. 8 on Geffen Records. The new album will serve as the followup to her Grammy-winning, chart-topping debut album Sour, which was released two years ago. And like with that record, she recorded and wrote this new project with collaborator and producer Dan Nigro.

“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” says Rodrigo of the upcoming record. “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20—it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”

The album is available for pre-order, including CD, cassette, limited edition box sets and vinyl available in four colors: red, white, blue and purple.
