Today, emerging Nashville artist Thomas Day has shared his new single "Masochist," which is out now on Arista Records.
And in typical Day fashion, it's a very electric, upbeat track inspired by heartache and unfortunate circumstances. As he explains: "'Masochist' is about a girl who I met and fell head over heels in love with, so fast and so hard that I didn’t care how badly I could get hurt. I wrote this song with my two friends Steve Rusch and Quinn Lewis. We were talking about the subtle complexities in relationships, and this song poured out. It’s about not being afraid to be hurt. Actually, it’s about wanting to be hurt."
Along with the new song is a video directed by Logan Meis, whose past collaborations include work with the likes of DaBaby and iann dior.
