Phony Ppl are back with new music today!

On Friday, the Brooklyn-based band shared their addictive new single "Nowhere But Up," and the title is easily a testament of their career status, as they effortlessly fuse the sounds of R&B, pop and jazz into a funk jam.

"'Nowhere But Up is exactly where Phony Ppl's is headed," says singer Elbee Thrie. "And for the song—this colourful demonstration of a sexy, sweaty seductive chase forces your body to move and groove sooo good, that you might just have to run it back when it ends!”

The rousing new track is the latest single off the band's upcoming album Euphonyous, which is said to be coming this fall. As we previously mentioned, Phony Ppl also jumped on label mates Drax Project's song last year and they made waves in 2020 with their song "Fkn Around," a collaboration with another label mate, none other than Megan Thee Stallion.
