Dermot Kennedy can absolutely write a gut-wrenching scorcher of a song, but today he's proving he can also make a pop banger.

The Irish singer is embracing is inner pop with the anthemic new single "Kiss Me," which is out now via Island/Interscope Records. The song has a video which is also out today. The song comes ahead of Kennedy's upcoming album Sonder, which is coming Nov. 4.

“The message behind both the video and song of ‘Kiss Me’ is that love is worth it," says Kennedy. "Even when things are falling apart and life feels short and there’s chaos all around us, there’s still always something to hold on to.”
