On Monday night, Arctic Monkeys returned with their new song "There'd Better Be a Mirrorball."

It was the band's first new music in four years, and it's the first preview of their new album The Car, which they confirmed last week. Following a similar pattern as their 2018 album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, the new song was written by frontman Alex Turner and produced by James Ford. The album itself is out Oct. 21 via Domino Records.

The new song is accompanied by a very lo-fi video, which was directed by Turner himself. The clip seems to weave in footage from the recording of the new record, and it certainly has a very nostalgic aura to it, something which will likely be welcomed by longtime fans.

Check out the new video now.
