As Death Cab for Cutie prepares to release a new album later this summer, they've shared a new song called "Here to Forever."

The new song arrived Wednesday along with a humorous video directed by Lance Bangs. It sees frontman Ben Gibbard confronting supply chain issues (or something like that) and having to step in and package his band's own vinyl for their upcoming record Asphalt Meadows, which is out Sept. 16.

“It’s a song both about our impermanence and the anxiety of these times," says Gibbard of the track. "It’s also about wanting to believe in something bigger even when it feels like nothing is out there.”
