stevexcooper is back with his latest musical collaboration “WATER WINGS” with acclaimed artist Rothstein. This track is part of the pair’s upcoming collaborative EP, What Are You Made Of?, honing down experiences of human intimacy and uncertainty makes for a superb pop anthem.

Blessing listeners with familiar melodies and a gripping bass line, Cooper and Rothstein musical alliance is a force to be reckoned with. In Cooper’s words “The structures are familiar, but the guts of the place are new.” The resemblance of open-hearted tales can be heard throughout the track, with themes of acquaintance, awkwardness and romance presented harmoniously. Lyrics like “The dissonance that keeps me up all night” add contradicting tales of intimacy. When blended into the acclaimed pop tune “WATER WINGS” is an up-tempo tune that is sure to keep listeners engaged across the globe.

This may be Brooklyn-based stevexcooper’s first producer project release about relationships, but in his words he admits, “I’m excited about the prospect of not only switching genres with abandon but also switching message and content.”

In line with the release, the duo have also visualised their latest collaboration in a captivating brand new music video! Needless to say, we’re really excited for the release of What Are You Made Of?.
