In the latest installment from Denzel Curry, he continues to put out great work, as evidenced by his new single "Zatoichi."
The incredible new track, featuring slowthai, follows last month's opener "Walkin," accompanied by a massive set of visuals, as is this new cut. Following "Walkin," it's the second preview of Curry's upcoming album Melt My Eyez See Your Future, which is expected in the coming months on Loma Vista Recordings.
The Powers Pleasant-produced track features a video shot in the jungle in Peru. It's said to be the start of a new chapter for Curry, who is marking an end to his "characters and alter egos."
"I like traditional hip hop, I like drum and bass, I like trap, I like poetry," says Curry, foreshadowing his upcoming record. "So a lot of that is going to be interwoven in this album, including jazz and a lot of genres that I came up on as a kid and just being in my parents’ house. This album is made up of everything that I couldn't give you on TA13OO or Imperial because I was going through depression anger issues.”
