So, this is a great way to start the week: The War on Drugs are back!

The band on Monday confirmed their new album I Don't Live Here Anymore is coming Oct. 29 via Atlantic Records. It's their first studio full-length in four years, and to introduce the new record, they have shared the opening track "Living Proof."

The new song is accompanied by a video directed by filmmaker Emmett Malloy. It was shot on 16mm and captures frontman Adam Granduciel at the historic Panoramic studio in Stinson Beach, California.

Shortly after winning the Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2018 for A Deeper Understanding, Granduciel, bassist Dave Hartley, and multi-instrumentalist Anthony LaMarca retreated to upstate New York to work on new music. They worked outside of their usual roles and began crafting the early demos for the new album.

Watch the new video below, followed by the newly announced tour dates.
