Norwegian dream/pop artist Yndling is showing us the magic of her silky smooth voice and shimmering production in her latest single “Cotton Candy Skies”. Now unveiling the aesthetically pleasing video, the songstress demonstrates just how alluring and whimsical she is.

Following the release of her debut single “Childish Fear,” her new track “Cotton Candy Skies” is a utopia of dream-pop. All about the sadness of heartbreak and spiraling into a whirlpool of expected self-pity, the stunning single touches of finding comfort in the familiarity of being low. The songwriter spills, “The idea for the song came as I was walking home one evening and the sky was really brilliant with pink clouds all over. Normally I’m quite good at making small moments like that lift my mood and feel better, and it kind of struck me that I hadn’t really been doing that well on being present in my life lately.”

This pastel explosion is showcased beautifully in her new video, accompanying the track with some rather delightful visuals. With slow-moving shots giving us the full glimpse of a glitter ball spinning, Yndling maintains a stern face throughout the video whilst being surrounded by an array of color and calm. Perhaps the notion of the video shows us that misery can bloom amongst the most beautiful settings, much like those cotton candy skies. The track glistens with mystical production, most definitely centered in a dream-pop, psychedelic aura. Yndling's releases prove to be an amalgamation of pure paradise, and we’re looking forward to witnessing the next chapter of her career.
