Summer might be over, but not if Bad Suns have anything to say about it.

The Los Angeles-based alt-rockers on Monday showed they're still hanging on to the warmer days with their new single "Baby Blue Shades." The beaming new track finds the band getting back to their roots in a way, teaming up with their past collaborator Eric Palmquist, who worked with the band on their first two records and produced this latest track.

“'Baby Blue Shades’ was one of those songs sent from the cosmos without a moment’s warning,” says singer Christo Bowman. “Extracted from a feeling of helplessness and desperation, following hours of unfruitful labor, the music came right to my hands and out of my mouth in a flash, along with a sense of euphoria. That cycle of emotions is exactly what you hear in this song.”
