“No matter who is around just know not everyone has the best intentions." — Louyah

Following the release of recent single “9mm,” Louyah returns with a new unapologetic anthem titled “No Friends.” It's a melancholic trap song that lyricizes the distinction between those who are there for you before and after success is obtained. Produced and engineered by Loud Era Recordings producer, dakun “No Friends” features synthetic drums, falsetto vocal chords, and trap snares to set the tone of the song. Throughout the track, he addresses how money doesn’t change you but the people that are around when he states:

“I remember way back then / When I never had love no friends / Having all the money in the world / But the money and friends don’t blend”

Directed by Kevin Boris, the music video for “No Friends” was shot in Brooklyn, New York, and features Louyah suited in a bulletproof vest surrounded by artificial mannequins representing those around who himself are not only ungenuine but unnecessary. “No Friends” marks the first of three singles off Louyah’s upcoming album titled, "6FEET" and in addition to this the music video for this track can be viewed below.
