Lauryn Hill has gone for a very literal set of visuals for her new track "Consumerism."

The newly released lyric video, co-directed by Ms. Hill and John Casey, offers the song's lyrics over a collection of clips that seem to reflect the words being uttered: pictures of war, violence, homelessness, drug use and more.

"Consumerism," the track Hill released shortly before her release from prison, basically lists all the world's flaws, from the singer's perspective.
