Berlin-based four-piece Elmar Weyland, Erik Laser, Matt Mueller and Christopher Kohl (aka BLOODHYPE) are kicking off the weekend with their brand new single "Violent Heart."

The dazzling new track, which lightly echoes the big arena-rock sound of The Killers, is dripping with '80s pop-rock flourishes as frontman Weyland maintains a masterful handle on the soaring vocals.

"Violent Heart" follows the band's other recent single "Hate Candidate," which was released last year. And it serves as a preview of their upcoming debut album Modern Eyes, which is expected this summer.
