Earlier this month, emerging artist Ruben Dawnson released his new single "FYALMA."

Today, the Norwegian multihyphenate has shared a set of visuals for the genre-bending, flickering new cut, which stands for the straightforward explanation of the song, "fuck you anxiety leave me alone."

“The video builds on the theme of the song and symbolizes the idea of running from something that doesn’t even really exist," says Dawnson. "Maybe even running from yourself in a way, or running from a certain aspect of yourself. It’s confusing and at times distorted, and you can’t seem to get anywhere. The switch up in the end hints at something else further down the line, a hidden message…”

Drawing influence from the likes of James Blake and Tyler, the Creator, Ruben Dawnson clearly has more where that came from, so stay tuned.
