Dirty Projectors have shared a new song, their first in nearly two years.

The band on Wednesday released a new song called "Overlord," which is said to potentially serve as a "tongue-in-cheek ode to surveillance capitalism," "cautionary tale about blind faith in technology," "anti-fascist manifesto" and also likely Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides, Now" for an Amazon Prime world.

This is the first Dirty Projectors material featuring the new lineup, with ringleader Dave Longstreth heading it up alongside guitarist Maia Friedman, who sings lead vocals on and co-wrote the track with Longstreth; Felicia Douglass and Kristin Slipp contributed additional vocals; upright bass player Nat Baldwin; Mike Johnson is behind the kit and Mauro Refosco plays congas.
