As autumn sets in and so does the colder weather it brings, KaiL Baxley has shared a perfectly seasonal video for his new single "Beneath the Bones."
The very woodsy clip, which is out now, is soundtracked by the singer-songwriter's breathtaking new track, released last month.
"Funny story... When we set out to shoot this visual collage for 'Beneath the Bones,' I thought it would be symbolic to bring a shovel in the idea that you can never really bury your past," says Baxley of the video. "In the process of 'not burying my past,' I managed to dig up a yellow jackets nest. Before we knew what was happening both camera man and I were swarmed and running a hundred miles an hour screaming through the woods leaving camera, shovel and I believe one shoe behind. You can see the beginnings of the swarm at exactly 5 minutes into the video! We both got stung once each. Lucky considering. And we lived to tell the tale. We hope you enjoy it."
The new song is the second off Baxley's upcoming third album, which is expected to arrive early next year.
