Just a year and a half after releasing her last album Reputation, Taylor Swift is clearly ready to move on to the next one.

As of 12 a.m. Friday morning, she has released her new song "ME!," which comes after weeks of subtle hints, countdown clocks, obvious teasers and outright revelations, such as when she surprised fans Thursday at a new butterfly mural in Nashville and revealed new music was indeed on the way, further noting the painting on the wall was lush with clues about said music.

In an interview with Robin Roberts during ABC's primetime coverage of the NFL Draft, Swift confirmed the song title and assured fans it would arrive with an accompanying video. Perhaps appropriate given the exclamation point in the song title, Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie is also featured on the track.

This is definitely a fast turnaround for Swift, who had previously released albums every other year but broke that tradition with Reputation, which came after a three-year wait and turned out to be somewhat polarizing with critics and fans.

"ME!" was co-written and produced by Joel Little, the music industry staple who also co-wrote and produced Swift's onetime friend Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine.

As of this writing, it's unclear if album No. 7 already has a release date, but it's likely coming later this year. For now, "ME!" is streaming across most services.
