It's a good day because Silversun Pickups are back.

The four-piece returned Thursday with their new single "It Doesn't Matter Why," the lead offering from their upcoming fifth album Widow's Weeds, the followup to their 2015 set Better Nature, which will arrive June 7 via their own label New Machine Recordings.

"This was the first album where we were open. We were exposed," says lead singer Brian Aubert of the upcoming record. "I see how that can be scary to people, but for us we really thrived on that."
