As he prepares to release his debut EP happysad this week, GOLDN is sharing a video for his single "heartbreak drugs."

The artist, who has previously written and produced music for the likes of Gucci Mane and Rihanna, is premiering the new clip today on Variance. And like the confessional song itself, it chronicles the aftermath of a painful breakup.

"I wrote 'heartbreak drugs' as I was going through the hardest part of my break up," says GOLDN of the track. "This song is me expressing my search for anything to numb the pain, or at least distract me from it a little. In this video we wanted to portray the two polar opposite sides of relationship—the light and the dark side. 💔"

The EP is out Friday, but "heartbreak drugs" is out now and the new video can be seen below.
