Vampire Weekend performs at Outside Lands 2025, by Dan DeSlover

Saturday unfolded as a vivid showcase of passion creativity and musical range set against the misty embrace of Golden Gate Park. Gracie Abrams offered an intimate heartfelt set on the Lands End stage that resonated deeply with the crowd including notable figures from California politics who watched along with quiet admiration.

Elsewhere across the festival grounds, Royel Otis delivered a soulful performance on the Twin Peaks stage just before Vampire Weekend brought their polished indie charm and rhythmic energy to the same stage as twilight settled in.

One of the day’s most electrifying moments came when LaRussell quickly turned on his charisma and stage presence on the Lands End stage. His set included nods to Bay Area icons like Too $hort and E-40 alongside a spirited collaborations with young rapper Ave.

Then Tyler, the Creator closed out the night with a stripped‑down high energy performance centered purely on his music and presence. Performing atop a catwalk under a sign reading Don’t Tap the Glass he relied on the strength of his rhythms lyrics and personality rather than elaborate visuals

All in all, Saturday at Outside Lands 2025 wove together intimate emotive performances and communal energy culminating in a night that balanced artistry authenticity and the unexpected in one unforgettable festival experience.
