This week, we've got a super infectious new single from Australian pop-rock outfit The Faim.

The group has shared a new song called "Me Because of You," and it's quite instantly an earworm. It's actually our latest "Big Obsession" selection, with a radio-ready hook and an energy reminiscent of the likes of Panic! At The Disco and 5 Seconds of Summer. In fact, respective collaborators Erik Ron (who worked with Panic!) and Matthew Pauling (who worked with 5SOS) are producers off the band's upcoming album Talk Talk, which is coming July 8 via BMG.

"‘Me Because of You’ was written about embracing change and letting go of a past version of yourself,” says bassist and keyboardist Stephen Beerkens. “The lyrics recognize the huge impact that someone else can have on the process. This song was a huge milestone for us, as it’s our first release that has been self-produced!”
