Mumford & Sons have earned their second No. 1 album, as Wilder Mind has debuted atop the U.S. charts—albeit far behind the starting pace of their previous LP.

According to Nielsen Music, the new record sold 249,000 equivalent albums (231,000 pure albums) in its first week. By contrast, 2012's Babel started with 600,000 copies when it launched.

Nonetheless, Wilder Mind is the third-largest debut week of 2015, behind only Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (495,000) and Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly (324,000).
