Costa Rica is one of the most magical places in the world, tropical sunsets, a variety of wildlife, waterfalls and where the duo that is Loud Forest found love. In their latest release “Costa Rica”, Southern California based indie-pop husband and wife team Loud Forest (Rachel and Bernard Chadwick), tell the tale of their first meeting and ultimate adventure of falling in love. The two met as teenagers and have been together over a decade, ultimately forming a musical partnership. Bernard confides, “Costa Rica is really a story about the moment we met and how it felt like we were connecting to something magical happening in the universe. I was in the jungle digging some stairs down to a waterfall, then up walks this cute 17-year-old girl in ripped up jeans out of nowhere.” Featuring sun-soaked melodies, vibrant synths and layered vocals, the single is a sonic masterpiece and takes us all back to the summer where we fell in love.

“Costa Rica” is the duo’s second release of the year. After the success of their minimal alternative pop single “Miracle”, the two have been busy live-streaming for their dedicated fanbase. Loud Forest is set to release a third full length album later in 2020 and we cannot wait to see what’s in store.

Take a listen to “Costa Rica” now and get lost in your own tropical paradise.
